About Kymbre

Hello!
I am a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, with 15 years of experience practicing Yoga. I began my Yoga journey when I was in high school, with the mindset that I’d use it to “get in shape”. Through much trial and error, what I learned was I was neglecting my heart and spirit while focusing only on the physical aspect of my overall wellbeing. This led to pain, and injury, and in my early 20s I had to start all over again. 10 years later, I found my way to Yoga again, from a new perspective, to achieve inner balance and better health through the true intention of Yoga – “to yoke” the body, mind, and spirit through mindful breathing and intentional movement. Because of my experience doing Yoga through pain and mental illness, and being able to find relief, joy and hope, I know that Yoga can be for every BODY, and anybody at any point in their life, regardless of age, ability, experience, or lifestyle.
I also have 25 years experience working with and riding equines, and I attribute much of my knowledge about the mechanics and physiology of human bodies to my work conditioning equine athletes. I know in my experience as an equestrian that riding can be very hard on the body. I would love to extend my Yoga teaching into working with equestrians to help riders with their overall wellness and fitness, and ensure longevity in their riding career, as well as help their connection to their equine partners for an overall better riding experience.
Aside from my Yoga practice, I am a nature enthusiast, and enjoy hiking, camping, and simple campfire picnics. I also enjoy spending time with my horse, Al, who has been a wise and steady friend and teacher for nearly my whole life. I share stories about him, my experience with horses in general, and the life lessons I’ve garnered through them, on my blog Equine Musings.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, and reading this information. I look forward to meeting you soon!
